Cafe Caro in Wittmund

We had reserved a table. This one wasn't free. Then a table was set up. It took 20 minutes until we ordered drinks. The food we ordered ranged from bad to very bad. Despite the complaint and only a missing fork from the plate, the full price was charged. There was a constant power cut in the kitchen, you could see that through the round window in the door. A strip of light on the counter also went out constantly. Service totally overwhelmed and unfriendly. Eating an absolute disaster. Never again and not to be recommended!

Super great restaurant. The food is delicious and very pleasant from the crowd. Great value for money. And the staff top it all off with their friendly manner. Nothing is too much here, every wish is fulfilled. An all-round carefree package!

We went to a funeral at sea with five people yesterday and were turned away flexibly in the home port. There was a table available for five people. The rustic decor shouldn't hide the fact that the food was excellent. The fish platter contained only fresh and excellently prepared, the steaks were of excellent quality. The salad buffet was plentiful. In addition, all employees always had a joke on their lips. Therefore full marks.

We were there for dinner tonight and we could say that the cook and the staff missed their career choice a bit. Because of this, we all cannot understand the ratings

Have now been to Caro's Essen three times and it was always very good. We recommend the duck breast but also the fish dishes. Have already reserved again

The service was unfriendly, drinks were only asked for when they arrived, after which one was no longer paid any attention. The necessary corona forms were not issued. Card payment allegedly no longer possible because it was not explicitly stated (the receipt was simply put on the table for us). The food was at least okay, only because of that 2 stars.

The food in Café Caro was good and the waiter was very attentive and quick. Home cooking. The rooms are getting old, our room looked cramped when you wanted to go to bed it was difficult. The towel rails in the bathroom were loose I.

Duck breast, veal liver Berlin style, absolute poem. I can only recommend it. Simply delicious, the liver tender as butter. Apple cake tastes like homemade! We will be back !!!

An absolute disaster! I ordered a fish plate, the vegetables are frozen goods, the fish was so-so. The staff is totally overwhelmed and unfriendly, if you complain then as a counter question "would you like to pay with cash or card". I have never experienced something like that. Terrible, don't go there !!

A disaster! Just been there and we got up and left again. You are received in an unfriendly manner, you have to sit down at tables where there are no chairs? Nice words are not known here. Disinfection is unknown and the mouthguard is only placed over the lips here. We'll never go back here, the Italian across the street is very friendly and highly recommended.

Super nice staff! Food corresponds to the price / performance ratio. Is tasty, fills you up and special requests are fulfilled. Thanks for a couple of nice evenings!

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. Waiters don't get the simplest order processes in line and if they are asked about it, you only get evasive answers. Ambience wasn't our taste either.

Eat well, steak like someone below complained almost cold Un herb butter tk ... Instead of non-alcoholic wheat comes a banana wheat, statement "You drink it anyway" ... After a clear no came an all-clear look ... Not worth a visit

Great service, great food and the waiters all nice and accommodating. The room was clean and functional. Breakfast very rich and you could order everything. Also nice that you could take the coffee with you to the terrace for breakfast. Vacation was completely successful and will definitely come back.

We were here for the first time today and made reservations for tomorrow. Cozy ambience, nice and friendly service. Food sufficient and good. Price performance is right and corresponds to the average. Selection of dishes is well chosen and there is something for every taste. Everything great.
